Winter Parking Lot and Sidewalk Maintenance Manual

parking lot manual

I am adding a Parking lot and Sidewalk Winter Operations manual for those that want to increase the level of service they are providing to their customers, while controlling operating cost. Just click on the link above (may take a minute to download) The added benefit is less chlorides in the environment and corrosion reduction for your equipment and the customers infrastructure.

I want to thank the Minnesota DOT for putting the manual together and making it available for public use.

I hope this proves helpful, lot’s of valuable information included. Please submit questions or suggestions for future post. I would love to hear your comments.

good information. If you do not utilize a good anti-icing program, you are doing your customers a diservice.

Thanks Mark. You are absolutely right and the beauty of liquids is the pro-active approach. Anti-ice before the storm, reduce or eliminate slip and falls on sidewalks and provide clear parking areas for your customers. Thanks again for the comment.
